Project: Arctic

Children showed great interest in polar bears, which led us to talking about Arctic  Starting with learning its whereabouts, they discovered the colours of the Arctic in pictures and book and further explored it through various media, such as shaving cream, cottons, coloured sand, ice, paints, chalk etc.  We even practised a polar bear dance!
Currently we are exploring the animal kingdom – don’t be mistaken by the pictures; kids picked all the animals from land of ice..and through studying the globe, discussion, pictures and books, they already figured out that penguins do not belong there…so the penguins went to the storage 🙂
