Project Pond

Over the last two months we have been learnign the difference between salt and fresh water and their relative habitats. This turned into a project Pond, which helped us learn about everything to do with ponds! Creatures, plants, environment and of course the importance of keeping it clean and preserved. Our practicum students Chloe and Mindy helped us big time with this project. Kids interprted this knowledge through various media. We made a few field trips to see man-made ponds in the neighborhood as well as travelling to see big real pond in Central park.
