Soggy

During free play the children had a disagreement on what “soggy” meant. Some of them thought it was a bad word, others thought it meant up and down. We challenged them and asked them to bring some paper from the recycling bin and soak it in the water. The children noticed that the paper was wet, soft and it was breaking. By this hands – on experience they found out what the word “soggy” means.
